a witness of the great "WHY"

this is a piece of the wood that was placed on top of the cross of Jesus

Yesterday I had the chance to visit a Church in Rome, dedicated to the Holy Cross of Jesus. It is actually a Cathedral where a piece of the wood, believed to be part of the wood ordered to be placed by Pilate on top of the cross of Jesus, is kept and venerated. History says that this wood was miraculously found by St. Elena, the mother of Constantine, in Jerusalem. On this piece of wood is wirtten very clearly the words "Nazarene and King" referring to Jesus -the Nazarean King of the Jews.

As I was gazing closely at the frame where the wood is sealed a thought came to me very strongly: a witness of the great "WHY" cried loudly by Jesus... "why have you forsaken me?"

What a great love, ... he cried aloud his "why" so as to give answer to all our whys.

Waht a great love, ... if I can cry aloud my "why" so as to give answer to his WHY.
